Abstract: |
An evaluation was extended to an excavation when archaeological remains were discovered. The structural remains of three pottery ovens were discovered in Trench 3/4 all of which were up-draughts built during the mid-late 19th and early 20th centuries. An additional 20th century oven was located in Trench 1. The fragmentary remains of four through-terrace houses were identified in Trench 2, surviving only as cellar bases. [Au(abr)] |
