Abstract: |
Prior to the reconstruction of the Hornworks defences on Pendennis Headland five trenches were mechanically excavated to locate the exact position of the eastern and western traverses, between the bastions of the forward cross-rampart and Pendenis Castle. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were revealed in any of the trenches. [Au(adp)] |
