Abstract: |
A survey undertaken during renovation of Berryfields Farmhouse, a Grade II Listed Building, identified three stages of construction, the earliest perhaps dating from the later 17th or early 18th century. The house was originally a brick-built, three-unit baffle-entry farmhouse of one-and-a-half storeys. The north-east end of the building was partially demolished in the 18th century, and rebuilt as a two storey cross wing. An outshut was added in the late 18th or early 19th century but had been removed by the later 19th century. [Au] |
