Abstract: |
Salvage excavation and recording, and monitoring of further works was carried out when the buried remains of a wall were uncovered during development work. The section of the wall, (thought to be part of the 12th-13th century priory complex) to be destroyed was more fully excavated and recorded. No occupation layers or floors survived the demolition of the building, thought to be sometime in the 16th century.[AIP] |
