An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on a site which lay within the vicinity of a Roman military road running between the two naval bases of Dover (DVBRIS) and Richborough (RVTVPIAE). Despite the proximity of the site to this military feature nothing of archaeological significance was revealed. [AIP] |
