Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken along the route of the water main from Axford to Forest Hill. In the course of the work only one archaeological feature was recorded, the Roman road north of the known Roman town of Cunetio existing either side of Greenway Road. A small amount of prehistoric struck flint was retrieved along the route after topsoil removal but it had no associated features. [Au(abr)] |
