Abstract:
The investigation ahead of the creation of a new road was an attempt to clarify possible features identified through a geophysical survey. The investigation was centred on a possible Romano-British enclosure. The enclosure was recorded although it's function remained uncertain. Also recorded within the site were the remains of medieval ridge and furrow and post-medieval settlement remains. [AIP]
