<summary>A desk-based assessment, supported by preliminary field survey, was undertaken for an area of 18th to mid 20th century mine-workings and buildings which was subject to proposals for land reclamation. A nucleated group of buildings remained around Taylor's Shaft, including the Grade II* Listed Taylor's 90" Engine House, containing a beam engine and associated gear, today maintained by the National Trust. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
