Abstract: |
A two phase evaluation was undertake, involving a desktop assessment and trial trenching. The desktop assessment identified a common adjacent to the western boundary of the site, although no evidence for medieval common-edge settlement was found. The only features identified during the trenching were field boundaries that were still in use between 60 and 250 years ago, although they were likely to have originated at least from the medieval or early-medieval period.
