Abstract: |
Excavation of foundation trenches for a new dwelling, west of Priory House, revealed the northern edge of the moat which surrounds Markby Priory, showing that the properties fronting onto the south side of Sutton Road have encroached onto the Priory site. No secure dating evidence was recovered. [Au] |
