Abstract: |
The archaeological resource at Booby's Bay was particularly rich. The wind-blown sand deposits had preserved many prehistoric artefacts and features, including extensive middens. At Porthcothan preserved medieval strip fields and at least one barrow were noted. Additional crop marks to the east suggested a complex pattern of prehistoric ritual and settlement activity.
