Abstract: |
No archaeological features of any significance were observed despite the presence of nearby features recorded from aerial photography. The only features observed were probably the result of natural erosion of the chalk bedrock but it may be significant that these occured near the field margins since such patches of heavier soil could have carried larger trees which might have then been incorporated in the hedge lines along the contours of the combe.[Au(abr)] |
