Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out at the site after a previous evaluation had demonstrated evidence of Victorian basementing. The monitoring showed fragmentary evidence of pre-19th century activity in the form of the remains of stone walls, believed to have been built when the road was established. [Au(abr)] |
