Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment of route options for the proposed A393 bypasses for Lannor and Ponsanooth identified that the area around Lanner was dominated by former mines and that all of the proposed routes would transect a network of railways comprising the Tresavean railway, the Redruth to Chasewater Railway and the Falmouth-Truro line, which served the mines within the area or were operated as branch lines.
