Abstract: |
The excavations revealed a large Iron Age settlement site which, due to its location and size, caused the rethinking of the origins and development of Whitestable and Seasalter. Previously an Anglo-Saxon origin was thought to have been the case for each town. However, the discovery of the site meant that their origins were somewhat earlier. [AIP] |
