Monitoring of the groundwork revealed the remains of a Romano-British wall foundations and a single small pit in the raft foundation for the new extension. A fragment of 2nd to early 3rd century Romano-British greyware pottery was recovered from the fill of the wall foundation. [Au(abr)] |
