Abstract: |
<summary>Archaeological monitoring was undertaken in connection with the replacement of an old water-main with a new pipe. Two small medieval settlement sites had been located during the preceding evaluation. Medieval coarse ware pottery sherds, two undated burnt flints, a small area of burnt clay, and brick and mortar fragments were found during the course of this investigation. This probably represents agricultural activities dating to the 13th and 14th centuries and one or two post-medieval rubbish pits. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} FNG011 |
