Abstract: |
A watching brief during the excavation of pile caps and a pipe trench confirmed that the area of the site was covered with a considerable depth of make-up. No archaeological deposits were observed, although the ground conditions were sufficiently good to allow observation had any been present. Dumps of late 19th and 20th century pottery were noted.
