Abstract: |
Despite Sextries Farm being mentioned in documents as early as 1507 and parch and soil marks in the immediate surrounding areas, the creation of the farm buildings in the late 17th to early 18th century appeared to have removed all traces of earlier settlement from the site. As a result, no earlier archaeological remains were located. [Au(abr)] |
