Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was undertaken at the site of Perran Foundry, which was proposed for redevelopment. Features identified included remains relating to a reverberatory furnace, a section of wall possibly associated with a 19th century lagoon or pond, a gasholder, the floor of a stable building, a wheel pit for a hammer mill, and a number of probable duct features for directing hot air from a fan engine to a hearth area below the Smith's Shop floor. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
