Abstract: |
The site had encountered activity from the Late Neolithic and Roman settlement periods, as well as the medieval town. Despite the development of the site area by the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, there was still a moderate likelihood of archaeological remains being preserved on site. A 1907 building may also have required further investigative or recording works. [Au(adp)] |
