Abstract: |
The archaeological investigations revealed that the site had been in use during the Roman, Anglo-Saxon and medieval periods. Roman use of the site was represented by a drain and pits as well as other features and finds. The Anglo-Saxon period was represented by rubbish pits indicating a settlement site and the medieval Friary showed evidence of walls and intercut pits. [AIP] |
