Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken to investigate the potential for buried archaeology within an area of land to the rear of the Brewer's Arms, in advance of a proposed residential development. Two linear trenches were machine excavated to the depth of the undisturbed natural subsoil but no archaeological deposits or features were identified. There was no evidence that the surface of the natural subsoil had been previously disturbed. [Au(abr)] |
