Abstract: |
Further to an earlier evaluation, an additional four evaluation trenches were excavated on the site of the proposed new business park. Three archaeological features in the form of partly exposed pits or ditches were exposed. Test trench 22 exposed a small pit or similar. Potsherds recovered from this feature's surface suggested it was of Iron Age date. Trench 24 exposed two features, one of which was probably linear and contained ceramic material of Iron Age appearance. [Au(abr)] |
