Abstract: |
The complex was situated over the site of Rye Roman villa and the groundworks revealed sections of the villa walls and a possible make-up layer for the villa floor surface. Roman layers were sealed by modern deposits associated with the swimming pool complex built on the site in the 18th century. [Au(abr)] |
