Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a lift shaft pit and ground beam trenches associated with the proposed development of the site. No archaeological finds or features were revealed during these works, the groundworks being kept to a level above the known archaeological deposits that had been previously revealed by trial trench evaluation of the site. Potentially archaeological levels were exposed in the base of the lift shaft pit, although no finds were recovered. [Au(adp)] |
