Abstract:		 An archaeological assessment of the proposed site of a new sewage treatment works and the route of a transfer pipeline was carried out. The study area extended from an area south of Rosecliston Holiday Park, via Trevemper Bridge, Trevemper Road, Trethellan Hill and Newquay golf club to Towan head. A total of 38 archaeological sites were identified. The most significant discovery was part of an Iron Age cist cemetery to the south of the golf course, (identified by magnetometer survey). [Au]
