Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment and evaluation was undertaken on the site of a proposed gravel quarry. Initial desk-based assessment established that a number of cropmark sites/features were recorded in various parts of the site but only one complex could be confirmed through geophysical survey and trial excavation. This complex consisted of an Iron Age/Romano-British field system and possible settlement site overlain by a later medieval system. [Au(abr)] |
