Abstract: |
The aim of the photographic survey was to record the visible remains of an anti-aircraft battery on the site. The battery probably comprised six gun emplacements set around a sunken control post and served by two sunken magazines with ramped access. Only two of the gun emplacements remained visible and substantially intact while the control post and magazines remained visible if partially obscured. These elements were photographed, where debris and undergrowth would allow. [Au(abr)] |
