Abstract: |
The well building at Davidstow Holy Well was recorded and photographed prior to repairs and conservation works undertaken by Cornwall Archaeological Unit. The monument is a Schedued Ancient Monument and the well building was rebuilt in 1871. The site was tidied of vegetation damaging the stonework, and a wall was rebuilt. The overall presentation and condition of the monument was improved. [AIP] |
