Abstract: |
An archaeological observation was carried out at Heathcote Hospital in association with building work, in October - November 1994. The site lies near to a probable Iron Age 'banjo enclosure' cropmark (Warwickshire SMR Ref No. WA 4561), but no evidence for activity pre-dating the construction of the hospital in the 19th century was recorded.[AIP] |
