Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation at the site of an extension to Church of St Mary revealed deposits of human skeletal material. The burials were contained within graves cut into underlying stratified deposits likely to have been derived from earlier building activity. Artefacts recovered from the burials and immediately associated deposits included pottery of 13th-14th century, Saxo-Norman and Roman date. [Au(abr)] |
