Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken at The Old Vicarage Residential Home, Ford Street, Wigmore, during the excavation of foundation trenches for an extension to the rear of the building. The site had been identified on the County Sites and Monuments Record as being of archaeological interest. A small quantity of residual medieval pottery was recovered from later contexts. No previous ceramic material of this date has been published from Wigmore.[AIP]\n\n |
