Abstract: |
The gradiometer survey identified a number of trends in the southern field; those within the earthworks were assumed to be archaeological whilst those to the west appeared to be drains. Some faint trends in the south-west of the northern field may have had archaeological potential. The resistance survey identified a boundary. There was correlation between a region of high resistance and the area of archaeological potential identified with the gradiometer, in the southern field, the north bank of the earthworks, relating to medieval Putton, was obvious within the data. Other features, including trends and ill defined high resistance areas, were less clear. [Au(abr)] |
