Abstract: |
Excavations in the 1950's, located 15-20 metres away from the present site, revealed at least 41 Anglo-Saxon graves. During the course of the present archaeological evaluation, no Anglo-Saxon burials were located on the site, and no residual artefacts from that period were recovered. All of the observed obtrusions were either post-medieval or modern in date.[Au(abr)] |
