Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for a proposed stable block and hard standing. The site lay within the medieval core of Earl Shilton and close to the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Earl Shilton Castle (SAM 17035) and was seen to have a high potential for containing archaeological remains. No archaeological features were seen and no significant archaeological finds were recovered during the observed groundworks at the site. [Au(adp)] |
