Abstract: |
A geophysical survey was conducted using a gradiometer to scan the entire area and to conduct detailed survey in selected areas. Scanning indicated generally low levels of magnetic response. No clear archaeological anomalies were detected by the detailed survey.A few ephemeral responses were highlighted as archaeological, but this interpretation remians extremely tentative.A number of linear responses were interpreted as former modern boundaries, and a modern pipe, and an addition high ferrous area is thought to represent a demolished farmhouse.
