Abstract: |
Excavations at 15 Tunsgate clearly showed the archaeological potential of the remaining area of land scheduled for redevelopment. It was determined that the excavations carried out were a sufficient sampling of the land to be developed, however this was based on an assumption that the nature of the archaeology in the remaining area was wholly predictable. Knowing that this would not necessarily be the case it was recommended that a watching brief be maintained during development works.[AIP] |
