Abstract: |
The earliest activity on the site was represented by a scatter of prehistoric struck flints. Most of these appeared to belong to the Neolithic-Bronze Age period, and were clearly broadly related to the other extensive flint scatters of this date that existed across much of the downland around Dover. Post-medieval activity on the site was represented by a series of shallow gullies. The axis of which corresponded closely with the orientation of the local field system that predated the laying out of the business park.[Au(abr)] |
