Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching on land off Kemps Lane established the presence of medieval features at the northern limits of the development area along the Kemps Lane frontage. However, interpretation of the medieval stratigraphy remained difficult due to the limited nature of the evaluation. The projected alignment of a medieval hollow way was not encountered within trenches targeted to locate this known feature. No archaeological features were revealed within the southern part of the development area. [Au] |
