Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site, part of which overlay the Roman fort of Templeborough. During the evaluation, no features associated with the fort were revealed, and only one piece of redeposited Roman pottery was recovered. Each of the three excavated trenches showed extensive evidence for ground levelling activities, which probably dated from the early 20th century. [AIP] |
