Abstract:
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a reservoir within a golf course. Fieldwalking undertaken in 1990 had recorded a concentration of medieval pottery in the area and a small scatter of Iron Age pottery close to the proposed reservoir site. During the evaluation, a sherd of 2nd-3rd century pottery and fragments of post-medieval tile and brick were recovered. [AIP]
