Abstract: |
No significant archaeology was encountered in any of the trial trenches or test pits. Mounded earthen deposits, which probably post-dated the medieval period, were the earliest deposits discovered. No phases predating the mid to late eighteenth century were identified in the northern garden wall, although several re-used pieces of medieval architectural stone were recovered from it.
