Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was held during works associated with the construction of an extension to the Shaven Crown Hotel. In the course of excavation of foundation trenches to the south-west of the current building, medieval deposits were encountered including a possible cobbled surface, and large quantities of dumped bone. However, the limited excavation area did not allow these features to be further elucidated. [Au] |
