Abstract:
Consolidation works on the Men an Tol holed stone (SAM 56) were undertaken due to visitor generated ground erosion. Site survey and investigation of antiquarian literature led to a reassessment of the Men an Tol and its associated stones, suggesting that the Men an Tol may have been part of a stone circle.
