Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of an extension to Elim Church. The development site lay within the historic town centre of Christchurch. There were no archaeological features in the main trench below layers of modern topsoil/rubble and concrete/scalping layers. The stratification was entirely geological, consisting of gravels and sands. Three fence post holes were modern, cutting through the concrete/scalping layers. [Au(abr)] |
