A programme of archaeological strip and record works were was undertaken in advance of mineral extraction. The area considered by this report consisted of the first part of the Phase 2 works, the second of nine phases of work. The results of this phase found no evidence for any significant archaeological features. A number of tree throws and boles were identified and investigated but were of modern origin. [Au(adp)]
