Abstract:
The site lay within an area of Great Historic Value. The formation of sand dunes was believed to have led to the burial and subsequent preservation of successive historic landscapes from the Early Bronze Age through to the post-industrial period. Structural evidence for post-medieval mining activity also lay within the study area. [Au(abr)]
