Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed that the site was largely composed of modern deposits of made ground and building foundations. No archaeological deposits or artefacts earlier than the late post-medieval period were found. Any archaeological deposits which were in the area were considered most likely to have been destroyed by building activities of the 19th and 20th centuries, and by post-war redevelopment. The proposed development would have a negligible impact on any archaeological remains surviving on the site. [Au(abr)] |
