Abstract: |
The work revealed multiple layers of made ground but did not expose any natural deposits. Two iron cannons were recovered. Both had been modified by iron rings cemented into their muzzles. Such modifications was characteristic of items reused for mooring points along the river Thames, although both were found apparently discarded within the made ground deposits. [Au(abr)] |
